No praise earned for your ungraceful way of being hauled out of office, kicking and screaming against the inevitable. Nor do you deserve thanks for what you have done to our reputation around the world, by demonstrating over and over again how uneducated and incompetent you are, and what a vulgar role model you have been, appealing to the gullible and easily fooled masses who see some communality with their own lack of praiseworthiness.
What you deserve thanks for, is something that Democrats have failed to accomplish, namely destroying the Republican party! That is at least one good thing you have done, – although I realize you may not have understood what you did. Since when has Republican administrations done anything good for the country? All they have done, is mess things up and leave it to the following Democratic administration to clean it all up, – and for the next Republican government to mess it all up again. Republicanism has only survived thanks to the Electoral College, which trumps the popular vote. Both Bush jr. and you lost the latter, so neither of you had the majority behind you.
You also helped expose the true, murky mind of evangelists. Despite your disgusting behavior, your lying and cheating, they flocked blindly behind you, despite their conceited claim of virtue! All they wanted, was for you to pack the Supreme court with the intention of controlling other people’s lives! An ugly mission accomplished, Trumpy!

Two weeks ago, on Veterans Day, you insulted American veterans by saying they were unpatriotic, un-American, totally dense and uniformed because they voted for Donald Trump. Today, you insult nearly 74 million persons who did not agree with your choice for president earlier this month.

Ray: Why on flat Earth would I “leave on the cutting room floor” your comment? Just to protect you, or what? Why would I forgo such a great opportunity to try to correct some of your persistent misunderstandings.
I assume you refer to one of my comments to other comments to an LTE that happened to be published in the San Mateo Daily Journal on Nov. 11, Veterans Day. I have in no way “insulted” veterans, as you have the audacity to claim. My point was that you have to have a very low regard for the US presidency to claim that someone like Donald Trump is good enough for the highest office in the world, a relatively uneducated, no-nothing liar and cheater, immoral to the hilt, with no apparent redeeming qualities. You have to be pretty naïve to be fooled into supporting someone like that, – whether you are a Veteran, a dog catcher, Catholic priest, or whatever. Why don’t you go after your Pied Piper, Trump, instead, who has actually stated about us soldiers, whether dead or alive, former or current, that we are suckers and losers. And that from someone who lied himself out of service! Instead, you criticize mercilessly a true statesman like President Obama, highly admired and recognized around the world, whose administration rescued us from the previous disastrous Republican administration and handed off to Trump an economy he has been riding high on ever since. What happened to good, old fashioned honesty and fairness, Ray? Have you no shame?

Mercilessly criticize Barack Obama? When? Are we talking about the same Barack Obama who said this week that Americans were “spooked” because a black man was in the White House? Would those be the same Americans who elected then re-elected an African-American to the highest office in the land? Would that be the same Barack Obama who today insulted Hispanic evangelicals?
I have asked you to explain the several scandals associated with the Obama administration on multiple occasions. Your response? Crickets.

Ray: For the record, very rarely do I reject a comment, – unless it is too far off the subject, or from someone trying to peddle something through my blog, whether that is a fake brain booster, a “Live forever” liquid, or too outrageous Trumpism. Just look through past comments and you’ll see that I welcome critical ones, which often give me the pleasure of responding for the common good, – like in your case.
That aside, you seem to think that groups like Veterans or Catholic priests are immune against stupidity, and more so than the general population? My point of being fooled by a con artist like Trump, has nothing to do with group affiliation, – whether Veteran or Catholic priest, you can be just as vulnerable as anyone. A possible exception would be that Atheists as a group are less likely than the general population to be fooled by ideas grounded in superstition or empty claims.
Finally, a great statesman like President Obama doesn’t need me to defend him and his administration against utterly stupid attacks, including cooked up claims of “scandals”. Just one question, though, for the record: would your opinion about him be different if he were white, or would your admiration for Trump be different if he were black?
