Message to my Russian subscribers:
To sooth his bruised ego, feed his sick ambitions, and cover up for his domestic failures, Putin has staged a vicious, unprovoked attack on Ukraine, a country the was no threat to him or his own dictatorship. He made up an excuse of “de-Nazification” of Ukraine, a country with virtually no Nazi-problem anymore. Putin’s outrageous campaign has killed hundreds of civilians, including dozens of children, while bombing apartment-buildings, hospitals, schools and even maternity wards, from where pregnant women had to be carried out to save their own and their unborn babies’ lives. Even people trying to escape, have been shot, bombed and killed mercilessly. Then again, there are some Russian soldiers who, risking Putin’s wrath and their own lives, have refused to follow orders, claiming that they were fooled into action by being told that this was just a friendly exercise to “liberate” Ukraine.
Unfortunately, news is hidden in a dictatorship like Russia, where press and media are strictly controlled, and where people trying to spread the truth, are being imprisoned. People by and large are so brain washed by Putin’s reign, that many don’t believe it when fragments of the truth reach them, even through close relatives living outside Russia, including family members being bombed in Ukraine. That’s how truth is hidden from Russians.
Unfortunately, there are idiots here in the US who kind of support Putin and who make statements that are being used as propaganda in Russia. Worst of them, of course, is the former inhabitant of the White House, Donald Trump. He was completely fooled by Putin, who in all likelihood helped him “win” the 2016 election. Of course, Putin wanted a US president who was easy to fool and manipulate. Fortunately, that didn’t help in the 2020 election, when the far more qualified and honest, former VP Joe Biden won.
But rest assure, the vast majority of the US population is for the Russian and Ukrainian people! Please spread the word!
