Presidential hopeful, Florida’s Governor George DeSantis, has really latched on the WOKE idea, as a powerful program to sway his racist followers to floc behind him for the 2024 election. Besides book banning, and teacher control, plus some voter suppression, that should do it.
WOKE has come to mean “being educated and socially aware, alert to injustice and discrimination in society, especially racism”, – and of course, we can’t have any of that! Let’s forget about black history and the atrocities committed against people of any color different from white, especially what the Christian white have done through the ages, and what Catholic priests are still doing, regardless of color. Let’s protect people, and especially school children from knowing any of that, because they could feel some kind of shame on behalf of the much superior white race! DeSantis is obviously trying to out-white even Donald Trump! So, what’s your response, Donald, besides calling DeSantis sanctimonious? You’re right there, for a change!
