Despite a US Constitution that defines the nation as secular, the US Supreme Court has rejected the lower-court ban on prayers before government sanctioned meetings.
Predominantly Christian prayers are offen offensive to people of other faiths, while non-believers find all praying both silly and out of place in public.
However, with a conservative SCOTUS majority, the lower court ban hardly had a snowball’s chance in “you-know-where”, – or for that matter, – a prayer.
