Rick Perry’s dysfunctional memory

During the 2012 Republican presidential primary, Texas governor Rick Perry made a fool of himself by not remembering the name of one of the federal departments he intended to get rid of, – ironically enough, Department of Education.
Since he is back again as a potential contender in 2016, he must also have forgotten how badly he fared the last time, – even in a crowd featuring intellectual lightweights like Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, and other jokers.
Or, does he trust that enough Republican voters have a bad memory, too?
Actually, he may be right on that one, – for a change.
