During the Mueller hearings, Republican interrogators made a big deal of the Mueller investigators being mainly Democrats, instead of Republicans, aside of Mueller himself being a registered Republican.
Let me try to get that straight: Do they mean that if enough Republicans had been among the investigators, they would have been able to hide the truth and protect President Trump against obstruction of justice charges, as well as calling Russian contacts and election meddling “fake news”, thus sanctioning and paving the way for more of the same in the future? Which again would mean that protecting Donald Trump is more important than following US law? Does that mean that Republican lawyers swear to a different set of legal obligations than Democratic lawyers, and that they are not bound by the US Constitution?
