Could at least a good part of our problems be related to Republicans usually support and vote for fellow Republicans, no matter what? Despite Nixon’s dishonesty and wrong-doings, Republicans kept voting for him. Despite Bush jr’s shortcomings, lack of even a basic education, his going into Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan because a godly voice inside his empty head told him to do so, Republicans kept voting for him. Despite Trump’s 34 rape convictions, multiple bankruptcies, lack of basic education, self-enrichments, dishonesty and selfishness, even lying himself out of military service, Republicans keep supporting him. And now, the latest from Trump: we can’t fund necessary daycare and Medicare, but we can fund a totally unnecessary war, started by himself, – even after promoting himself for a Nobel Peace Prize! Don’t we ever learn? |
