The chart below about all the biblical calls for killing, for just about anything, except rape (!), makes me wonder about the so-called “Christian faith”.
Those who say they follow the Bible, and claim to act in accordance with it, have they really read it all, or just certain parts picked by their minister or other religious advisors? And if you really have read it all, can you still call yourself a “Christian” if you don’t follow the killing commands? Or, if a Christian really read it all, will he still claim to be a Christian, or finally realize the fallacy of it all? Which again underscores how appropriate the title was for Dan Barker’s excellent book: “God: The Most Unpleasant Character in All Fiction” (Available at www.Amazon.com).
