Trump did not garner the popular vote and would not have “won” without the outdated Electoral College. And, we’re still waiting for Mueller’s findings re. Russian involvement, while the impact of voter suppression remains unknown.

I am not President Trump’s apologist nor can I speak for his supporters, but it’s curious… neither major political party can elect a president without garnering the lion share of independent voters. So, why did those independents reject Secretary Clinton? Why was the “anybody but Hillary” sentiment so strong among independents? Why was it so strong that a candidate without political experience was able to garner the lion share of independent voters and win the presidency?
