You bring up a very good point, and I have to agree with you! Yet, this support for governmental intervention is in such sharp contrast to other areas where government has to be involved in order to support, protect or help those who need it the most, or to keep the society functioning as a society for all, not only the most advantaged.

I pay little or no attention to right or left wing websites, but it is clear that a successful attack on the power grid would have grim consequences possibly including a serious threat to national security. What higher duty does the national government have than protecting national security? Please identify some right wing web sites that do not support the duty of the government to protect national security.
