To the delight of Putin, Trump has provoked a nonsensical trade war with America’s most loyal allies in the most insulting way. He tries to cow them, “if they retaliate they’re making a big mistake.” He is shamelessly and obviously paying back Russia for their interference and help in his election. The effect on America’s economy would be devastating, not to mention our national defense.
Editor’s comments: No wonder Putin wanted to help manipulative and easily controlled Donald Trump, instead of the more seasoned and harder to fool politician Hillary Clinton. Pay a self-centered egomaniac like Donald Trump a compliment, fake or not, and he melts like butter.
