Donald J. Trump convicted on all 34 felonies, judged by a 12-member jury, representing the rest of us in a fair trial conducted exemplary, no matter what his Right-wing supporters keep claiming, without a fiber of evidence. It is simply shocking, although not a surprise, to listen to the lies from the FOX propaganda channel. Is it blatant stupidity, dishonesty, misinformation, or all of the above, – and more?
The news was cheered in Western Europe, with first page stories about this rare event, headed by the word GUILTY! Putin, however, was very critical about the outcome, and expressed serious disappointment, understandably so! Of course, he wanted Trump back in the WH, an easily manipulated and controllable puppet, and very generous when it comes to government’s top secrets, as we have seen.
We should be proud of the country, finally waking up to reality, and taking action! Instead, Trump’s blindfolded MAGA supporters go out of their way to tear down our democracy and muddle up the entire system. Instead, they should be proud of our independent judicial side, which passed what we may consider the ultimate test, something the country should be proud of, and an example for the rest of the world.
Our country was meant to be, and should be, a modern democracy, not a “Fascist Partei”, which Rachel Maddow so eloquently warned against in her latest best seller, “Prequel”.
And finally, as a gentle reminder: all this would have been avoided if it hadn’t been for the Electrical College! The majority should be heard and decide elections! Simple as that.
