Trumpy Price less

Before he chickened out, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price had been travelling the world on tax payer money, using private jets and even military airplanes, raking up enormous cost.
Caught with his greedy hands in the tax payers’ proverbial cookie jar, he pledged to pay for the trips himself, – for the single seats he used in otherwise unoccupied aircrafts! Nice try, Price!
Aside of the private vs. commercial aircraft issue, why on flat Earth would he need
to travel so much, as if he hadn’t enough of a job here at home? Was he travelling the world as training for a job he clearly was not qualified for, or was he simply trying to stay away from a job he doesn’t know how to handle, – as so many other Trump-selected cabinet members?
Does Trump deliberately pick unqualified and dishonest people for key jobs, or is he so uniquely unqualified himself that he doesn’t know how to pick and evaluate candidates, – like so many voters last time.

Hmm. Whatever you think of Price’s travel, it was apparently for government business, and of course, perfectly legal.

Perhaps you have forgotten Att’y General Eric Holder’s 2014 perfectly legal joyride in a government Gulfstream to go to a horse race at Belmont Park, NY.
He was accompanied by his two daughters and their boyfriends, plus two security agents.
Because he is such an honorable man, Holder paid the government (us) the equivalent cost of five commercial coach seats, 7% of the government’s cost for his purely personal jaunt.
I’m guessing it wouldn’t have been legal for him to have reimbursed us for the security agents’ seats too. Otherwise such an honorable man would have paid that as well.

Too bad you can’t be a proud American like I am. You get to pay the taxes that pay for this stuff, but you can’t claim the patriotic glory stirred by public servants like those guys.

” our current so-called president”. Hmm, as I recall, he was elected according to the Constitutional procedure. Like it or not, we are stuck with him as president. A legitimately elected president

Jorg, you have expressed great interest in the truth about the Russians being revealed.

Investigations ARE interesting, and the TRUTH is beginning to appear, at last.
If anyone is frantic and nervous about emerging truth it is members of the DNC and of Hillary’s campaign. Those Democrats are struck with amnesia, are unable to recall who among them authorized $10 million payment to the law firm that hired Fusion GPS to collude with the Kremlin, hoping to dig up dirt on Mr.Trump.
I’m predicting that the next thing we’ll see is some of those Democrats pleading the 5th, as already have two Fusion GPS partners.

On a separate topic. it looks like truth will be emerging soon regarding the racketeering discovered inside the Uranium One deal.
Of course Obama is far too smart (like a Clinton) to have his fingerprints on the sale of 1/5 of America’s uranium to Russian interests. Even though the sale required executive level approval, such a minor transaction undoubtedly escaped Obama’s notice. It is called “plausible deniability”.
Maybe not so for the ever so clever Clintons when investigators pry into the $ millions donated to the Clinton Foundation by players in the Uranium One deal.
