I can’t quite understand why Donald Trump needs such a heavy Secret Service detail, no matter where he choses to play.
I thought VP Mike Pence was picked mainly as a life insurance?
Same as VP Dan Quayle for Bush #1 and VP Dick Cheney for Bush #2, which worked quite well in both cases.
Seems like Republican presidents are particularly good at picking scary VPs as their phantom body guards, so why the need for such costly security for Trump, – except perhaps for the thrill of being surrounded by SS?
